At Dartmouth: Tisdale had a breakthrough sophomore season, appearing in 28 games last year. He recorded career-bests in all offensive categories, finishing the season third among defensemen with 10 points (4g, 6a). Tisdale opened the season with assists in each of the first two games. He was later named to the Ledyard National Bank Auld Lang Syne all-tournament team after collecting four points (2g, 2a), including a goal and two assists in an 8-1 win against Air Force. Tisdale then scored a goal in back-to-back contests against Clarkson (2/5) and St. Lawrence (2/6). The Big Green was 4-1 when he recorded an assist in a game. Tisdale appeared in 14 games as a freshman, picking up two assists as he battled a thigh injury for part of the season. He scored his first point in Dartmouth's 4-3 victory against Yale and notched his second in a 5-2 Big Green victory at Cornell (2/24).

High School/Juniors: Tisdale was a member of the Langley Thunder, scoring 39 points (5g, 34a) in 50 games. He was selected to play in the BCJHL All-Star game in 1995-96 and 1996-97. Following the 1993-94 season, Tisdale was awarded the Scholastic Player of the Year award as a member of the Merritt Centennials.

Personal: Tisdale admires former Edmonton Oiler teammates Mark Messier and Paul Coffey and cheers for the New York Rangers. Tisdale enjoys skiing, hiking and has tried skydiving. He lists Billy Madison and Rio Bravo as his favorite movies and likes to listen to Tragically Hip and Metallica.
