| At Dartmouth: Nardella was a key contributor to the Big Green and is expected to play a larger role on the team this upcoming season. He appeared in all 29 games as a freshman and recorded 15 points (5g, 10a). Dartmouth was 3-1 when Nardella scored a goal. He potted both goals in a 2-1 victory at Nebraska-Omaha (11/27). In his first collegiate game, an 8-5 win against Niagara (11/8), Nardella scored a goal and picked up an assist. He also potted the gamewinner in a 4-2 win at Princeton (1/8). Nardella collected assists on both Dartmouth goals in a 4-2 loss against Harvard (1/2).
High School/Juniors: Nardella played four seasons in the NAHL with the Springfield Jr. Blues. He scored 47 points (10g, 37a) in 48 games his final year, earning him his third all-star game invitation. Nardella is one of the all-time leading scorers in Springfield history. He also was a member of two USA Hockey Select All-Star teams and played in international competition.
Personal: Nardella's favorite NHL team is the Chicago Black Hawks, and the Hawks' all-star, Tony Amonte, is his favorite player. Nardella started playing hockey at three years old and lists golf as a hobby. His favorite TV show is Friends, and his favorite movie is Good Will Hunting. Frank's cousin, Bob Nardella, plays for the Chicago Wolves of the International Hockey League. |
