| High School/Juniors: Murray is a crafty and creative forward with good playmaking skills and could make an immediate impact on the Big Green team. He played for Nobles of the New England Prep School Hockey League and captained the team his senior year. Murray collected 51 points (19g, 32a) and was part of the Independent School League championship team last year. He was an ISL All-Star and won the team spirit award. The Daily Transcript also named him co-Player of the Year.
Personal: Mike is the son of Bob and Lin Murray. Mike lists Friends as his favorite television show and Rocky IV as his favorite movie. He listens to U2 and Metallica and cheers for the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and enjoys watching Pavel Bure of the Florida Panthers. Mike, who started playing hockey at age four, played with Dartmouth's Michael Maturo in middle school. |
