| High School/Juniors: Gillings is a product of the North Battleford North Stars from the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. He is an exciting offensive player who picked up 63 points (30g, 33a) a season ago. Gillings was a two-time All-Star and an assistant captain. He also was presented with the North Battleford Fan's Award. Gillings has tremendous on-ice awareness and is an outstanding specialty teams player.
Personal: Kent is the son of Barry and Jill Gillings. Kent names Matt Damon's Rounders as his favorite movie and enjoys listening to Limp Bizkit. Kent cheers for the NHL's Edmonton Oilers and lists Paul Kariya of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks as his favorite player. Kent laced up his first pair of skates when he was five years old. |
