| At Dartmouth: A rugged, stay-at-home defenseman, Desjardins appeared in 17 games for the Big Green. He picked up his only point of the season, assisting a goal in a 4-3 loss against Brown (1/3). He is strong in his own end and will be counted on to play a key role in the Big Green's success this year.
High School/Juniors: Desjardins came to Dartmouth as an experienced blueliner from the BCHL. An excellent playmaker, he recorded 27 points (3g, 24a) in 58 games. Desjardins was a league all-star with the Powell River Kings.
Personal: Carl started playing hockey at seven years old, cheers for the NHL's New Jersey Devils and admires Boston Bruins all-star defenseman Ray Bourque. Carl played against Dartmouth teammate Gary Hunter in junior hockey. Austin Powers is his favorite film and "La Vie Devant Soi" is his favorite book. |
