| High School/Juniors: Coughlin possesses a good shot and has good speed and agility. A graduate of Phillips Academy (Andover), he collected 30 points (15g, 15a). Coughlin was also named to the Hockey Night In Boston All-Scholastic team.
Personal: Halsey is the son of Michael and Beverly Coughlin. Halsey lists the Boston Bruins as his favorite NHL team and the Pittsburgh Penguins' All-Star Jaromir Jagr his favorite player. Prior to attending Dartmouth, Halsey played with Michael and Trevor Byrne, Mike Murray, Mike Maturo, and Eric Almon. Halsey lists Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore as his favorite film and enjoys listening to Rage Against the Machine. |
