| At Dartmouth: Baldwin enjoyed a successful rookie season and is one of the finest playmaking forwards on the team. He finished tied for second on the team with 23 points, and his 17 helpers were a team-high. In ECAC games, Baldwin was fourth on the team with 15 points (3g, 12a). He finished the season with five multiple-point games, highlighted by a four-point effort in an 8-1 victory against Air Force (12/27) at the Ledyard National Bank Auld Lang Syne tournament which got him named to the all-tournament team. Baldwin also earned ECAC Rookie of the Week (12/30) for the second straight week. He opened the season with a three-game point scoring streak (11/8-11/14), picking up four assists. In his second three-game point streak (12/11-12/27), he tallied six points (3g, 3a). Baldwin's biggest goal of the season came at the 1:25 mark of overtime as the Big Green defeated Providence (12/11), 6-5, and he was named ECAC Rookie of the Week (12/14). Baldwin picked up a goal and assist in the Big Green's 2-2 tie at Brown (3/5).
High School/Juniors: Baldwin played with the Springfield Jr. Coyotes and was the team's captain. He finished the season ranked fourth overall in league scoring with 65 points (31g, 34a) in 32 games. He earned EJHL all-star recognition last year and was named King of the Hill at the USA Jr. A Tournament.
Personal: Chris, who started playing hockey at two years old, is a fan of the Carolina Hurricanes and center Keith Primeau is his favorite NHL player. Chris lists Top Gun as his favorite movie and chicken and steak as his favorite foods. |
