| At Dartmouth: Tisdale is a gifted skater who could fit nicely into the plans this season as an everyday performer. He appeared in 14 games as a freshman, picking up two assists. Tisdale also battled a thigh injury for part of the season. He scored his first point in Dartmouth's 4-3 victory against Yale and notched his second in a 5-2 Big Green victory at Cornell (2/24).
High School/Juniors: Tisdale was a member of the Langley Thunder, scoring 39 points (5g, 34a) in 50 games. He was selected to play in the BCJHL All-Star game in 1995-96 and 1996-97. Following the 1993-94 season, Tisdale was awarded the Scholastic Player of the Year award as a member of the Merritt Centennials.
Personal: Dory lists Cornell's Lynah Rink as his favorite for the "crazy fans and because of how loud it is." He admires former Edmonton Oiler teammates Mark Messier and Paul Coffey and cheers for the New York Rangers. Dory enjoys skiing, hiking and has tried skydiving. He lists Billy Madison and Rio Bravo as his favorite movies and likes to listen to Tragically Hip and Metallica. |
