High School/Juniors: The speedy Maturo should contribute to the Big Green immediately after captaining Belmont Hill. He registered 60 points (31g, 29a) in 28 games and was an All-League and All-New England selection two years in a row. Maturo led the ISL in scoring the last two seasons. He was the Flood Shield receipient as outstanding player/student in the ISL. Maturo was named an HNIB All-Scholastic and was a summer tournament all-star. His team also won the ISL title in soccer.

Personal: Mike is the son of Charles and Barbara Maturo. He played high school hockey with Eric Almon at Belmont Hill and played against David Risk, Craig Lund, Chris Taliercio and Dan Casella. Mike lists Dumb and Dumber as his favorite movie and listens to Guns-n-Roses and Korn. Mike admires Philadelphia Flyers' all-star forward John LeClair.
