| At Dartmouth: Crapser spent most of his freshman season trying to crack the Big Green lineup. A hard worker on the ice and in the weight room, his efforts paid off when Gaudet called on him in the Sheraton/USAirways Classic. Unfortunately for Crapser, his first appearance was his only one when he suffered a season-ending knee injury. He will be looking once again this season to break into the defensive corps.
High School/Juniors: Crapser attended Northfield-Mt. Hermon and in 24 games scored 23 points (9g, 14a). He was captain his senior year, earning all-prep school and all-scholastic recognition. He was also awarded the sportsmanship, leadership and dedication award at Northfield-Mt. Hermon. Crapser was selected to the U.S. National under-17 B team in 1995.
Personal: Drew is a big fan of the hometown Boston Bruins and lists Chris Chelios as his favorite NHL player. Mel Gibson's Braveheart is his favorite movie, and Boston is his top music group. |
