At Dartmouth: Wilgosh enters his junior season with high expectations after
posting back-to-back 11 point (6g, 5a) seasons. One of Dartmouth's
strongest forwards, Wilgosh started last season with a three-game
point scoring streak (11/1-11/9), netting two goals and two assists.
He scored a game high two goals against Princeton (2/21). Wilgosh
led all Big Green freshmen in scoring in 1995-96 and earned the
Booma Award as the team's top rookie. On his first shift as a
collegian, he scored his first goal against Illinois-Chicago.
He also recorded goals in four consecutive games. Overall Wilgosh
played in 25 games and showed his strength on many rushes as he
carried opponents along the boards and to the goal-mouth for his
scoring chances.
High School: Wilgosh played his junior hockey for the Minot Americans and
Top Guns. In his first year he led his team in scoring with 69
points and was the most valuable player. As the captain the next
year, he again was the leader in scoring.
Personal: Curtis says his favorite aspect of Dartmouth "is the location
and beauty of the campus. The small-town atmosphere is very similar
to where I grew up." Curtis likes to relax by listening to music
and has no one preference, enjoying all kinds of music. He is
a fan of David Letterman and The Late Show, and thinks that the
hardest ECAC rink to play in is St. Lawrence's Appleton Arena
because of the unpredictability of the boards. |
