At Dartmouth: Retter is coming off his highest point total since entering
Dartmouth and will be counted on as a key to the Big Green's success
this season. Retter finished the season with career highs in assists
with seven and points with 12. Retter had a four-game point scoring
streak (1/17-1/25), scoring a goal and adding three assists. He

was at Cornell (11/16) were he netted two goals. In his sophomore
year, Retter tallied one goal and four assists with his only goal
being the game winner against Princeton. As a freshman, he began
his collegiate career with the game-winning goal in the season
opener against Boston College and ended the campaign with 11 points
(6g, 5a).
High School: Retter played his junior hockey with the Wexford Raiders. He
was a member of back-to-back Metro League championship teams and
an Ontario Region championship.
Personal: Charlie says his favorite road trip is the Upstate New York
trek to Cornell and Colgate. "It's a very difficult place to play
because it's so loud, but that is what hockey is all about." Among
his hobbies, Charlie lists video games -- specifically Sega Genesis
Hockey. Charlie's favorite player is Wendell Clark and he roots
for Clark's team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. |
