At Dartmouth: In his first full season on defense last year, Peet appeared in 18 games and notched two assists. The most imposing player on the Big Green squad, Peet made the transition from forward to defense in his sophomore season, appearing in 23 games and making a solid contribution at the blue line. In his sophomore year, Peet tallied three assists for his only points and was presented the Smoyer Award as the team's unsung hero. As a freshman, Shaun skated primarily as a forward, appearing in 14 games and notching one goal and two assists. High School: Peet played his junior hockey with the Penticton Panthers with current Dartmouth teammates Shane Ness and David Whitworth Personal: Shaun's favorite aspects of hockey are the fast pace and physical nature of the game. His favorite foods are sunflower seeds and Caesar salad and his favorite actor is Val Kilmer. While playing junior hockey, Shaun scored a pair of goals against his former team after a preseason trade, a moment he remembers as his greatest in sports. |
