At Dartmouth: Labeled a big, steady defenseman, Maduck will be counted on to contribute to the blueline this season for the Big Green. Maduck spent his freshman season adjusting to the college game. The Big Green coaching staff will look to Maduck to fill in a hole on defense left by graduation. High School: Maduck played two years for the Junior A Calgary Royals and was voted the Unsung Hero during the 1995-96 season and the team's Most Improved Player in 1994-95. Personal: Sean says his favorite place to play is Thompson Arena "because it is the nicest rink in all of the Ivy League and the ECAC." He has always rooted for the Edmonton Oilers after living in the city during their championship seasons in the early 1980's. Sean's favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption and he also loves reading all Michael Crichton novels. He says his favorite aspect about hockey "is the speed and the intensity at which it is played." |
