Personal: Frederic is the son of Robert and Majolaine Miron Deschamps. Before Dartmouth: Deschamps played hockey for Upper Canada College, recording 90 points (40g, 50a). He enjoyed great success with the Blues as the team won the CISAA championship, the Ontario championship, the Ridley Tournament and the Trinity College Tournament. Deschamps also was awarded the Upper Canada College student/athlete trophy.
