Curtis Wilgosh

Curtis Wilgosh

At Dartmouth: Dartmouth's strongest forward, Curtis returns after a freshman campaign in which he led all Big Green freshmen in scoring and earned the Booma Award as the team's top rookie. On his first shift in his first game as a collegian, he scored his first goal against Illinois-Chicago. Curtis also recorded goals in four consecutive appearances in his first season. He played in 25 games and showed his strength on many rushes as he carried opponents along the boards and to the goal-mouth for his scoring chances. He also provided a big body on screens and excellent stick control to re-direct shots, which helped boost the team's power play numbers last season.

High School: Curtis played his junior hockey for the Minot Americans and Top Guns. In his first year he led his team in scoring with 69 points and was the most valuable player. As the captain the next year, he again was the leader in scoring.

Personal: Curtis says his favorite aspect of Dartmouth "is the location and beauty of the campus. The small-town atmosphere is very similar to where I grew up." Curtis likes to relax by listening to music and has no one preference, enjoying all kinds of music. He is a fan of David Letterman and The Late Show, and thinks that the hardest ECAC rink to play in is St, Lawrence's Appleton Arena because of the unpredictability of the boards.
