Shaun Peet

Shaun Peet

At Dartmouth: The most imposing player on the Big Green squad, Shaun made the transition from forward to defense last season, appearing in 23 games and making a solid contribution at the blue line. A fierce competitor on the ice, Shaun possesses a powerful shot from the point that makes him a valuable two-way player. He tallied three assists last year for his only points and was presented the Smoyer Award as the team's unsung hero. As a freshman, Shaun skated primarily as a forward, appearing in 14 games and notching one goal and two assists.

High School: Shaun played his junior hockey with the Penticton Panthers with current Dartmouth teammates Shane Ness and David Whitworth.

Personal: Shaun's favorite aspects of hockey are the fast pace and physical nature of the game. His favorite foods are sunflower seeds and Caesar salad and his favorite actor is Val Kilmer. While playing junior hockey, Shaun scored a pair of goals against his former team after a preseason trade, a moment he remembers as his greatest in sports.
