Bill Kelleher (Assistant Captain)
At Dartmouth: Bill returns for his final year of eligibility as one of the
ECAC's and Big Green's top playmakers. Last season he more than doubled his career total for goals, finishing second on the team with 11 tallies.
Beginning last season as the squad's top returning scorer, Bill opened the
year with a two-goal performance in a 3-3 tie at Illinois-Chicago. He
repeated his multi-goal feat on the second-to-last day of the regular season, notching two goals against Harvard in the 5-1 win that clinched a
playoff spot for the Big Green. As a junior, Bill's 18 assists were a team
high and his 23 points placed him fourth on the team in scoring. He
scored three times in the final eight games of 1994-95 to help Dartmouth
go 5-3 over that stretch. In the team's 7-3 win over RPI, Bill had a career-
high four assists to go along with a goal. He played only four games as a
sophomore before a broken arm sidelined him for the year. Making an
immediate impact in the ECAC as a rookie, Bill finished second on the
team with 30 points. He displayed a talented touch with the puck as 26 of
his points were assists. Bill had six games with multiple assists, earned a
spot on the All-ECAC rookie team and shared the Booma Award as the
team's top freshman with Dax Burkhart. |
