Matt Giedt
At Dartmouth: One of the more tenacious players on the squad and possibly the quickest skater returning, Matt earned valuable time as a freshman. He appeared in 25 games, scoring five goals and two assists. His
shorthanded goal against Yale was the only man-down tally by the Big
Green last season. His first career goal was recorded in unusual fashion at
Union when his third-period blast from the blue line deflected in front of
the net and bounced off the back of the goalie before crossing the goal
line. Matt returns for his second season as one of Dartmouth's top penalty
killers and has the opportunity to increase his offensive output after a year
of college experience under his belt. |
