Dave Risk

Dave Risk

At Dartmouth: Dave saw the most ice time of all the freshmen last season, appearing in 27 of the team's 30 games. He is a solid defender who complements his consistent blue line play with a strong shot on offense. He totalled six points as a rookie on a goal and five assists with his goal coming against the defending national champion Boston University Terriers.

High School: At Lawrence Academy, Dave was a two-time ISL All- League performer as well as being named a Hockey Night in Boston All- Star. In his final year at Lawrence, Dave was named the Mid-Atlantic Prep-Private defensive MVP.

Personal: Dave is a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, yet he lists New York Ranger captain Mark Messier as his favorite athlete. He enjoys fly fishing and creative writing in his spare time away from the rink, and his favorite food is lobster. When Dave was a senior at Lawrence Academy, he was the lead in the school's production of "Into the Woods."
