Alex Dumas

Defense

At Dartmouth: Slowed by a preseason ankle injury, Alex played in just three games last season. With good size and strength, he will compete for time on defense in 1995-96. Alex played in 13 games on defense during his rookie season despite suffering a shoulder injury in a game at Colgate. He did not find the net, but tallied three assists on the year. He was one of several Dartmouth hockey players at home on the trip to Switzerland, speaking fluent French.

High School: At Milton Academy, Alex lettered in hockey, baseball and football, earning All-Conference honors in hockey and baseball his senior year.

Personal: After college, Alex hopes to use his mathematics degree for a career in economics. In his spare time, Alex enjoys playing the guitar and keyboards and is also an avid golfer. His favorite foods are steak and barbecue potato chips. Alex says Vermont is the toughest place to play, "their fans are so loud and the rivalry between the two teams gets the fans going even more."
