Jeremiah Buckley

Forward

At Dartmouth: After watching from the stands during the early portion of the season, Jeremiah broke into the lineup to stay, playing in 21 games. He registered his first collegiate goal in a loss to Harvard and finished the season with three points. A tough, hard-nosed player, Jeremiah's strong play in the corners makes him a top candidate to see significant playing time this season.

High School: Jeremiah captained the hockey and baseball teams, earning six letters between the two sports. He was the conference scoring champion for 1992-93 with 55 points, and he garnered two All-Conference selections and one All-State honor. On the diamond, he won a pair of All-Conference honors and was All-Region as well.

Personal: A fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, Jeremiah's favorite player is all-star center Jeremy Roenick. Jeremiah puts pasta and Golden Grahams among his favorite foods and lists his favorite movie as Field of Dreams. Jeremiah says his most memorable sports moment was his first career goal against Harvard, and he likes to play in Vermont's Gutterson Arena the most. "The atmosphere in that rink is unbelievable," he says.
