| At Dartmouth: Nardella continued to be a steady offensive contributor to the Big Green. He established a career-high with 22 points and added a best 18 assists. Nardella scored points in back-to-back contests six times and twice scored points in three games straight. He had five points (1g, 4a) in a three-game span (1/5-1/12) and later collected six points (2g, 4a) in three contests (2/3-2/10). Nardella had four points (1g, 3a) in a win against Harvard (2/9) and added four two-point games. The Big Green was 10-3-1 when he assisted a goal. Nardella finished his sophomore season as the Big Green’s leading scorer with 20 points (8g, 12a) in 30 games and was also named ECAC All-Academic. He had a game-high four points (2g, 2a) in Dartmouth’s 5-1 win against Union (1/8). Nardella closed the season with points (2g, 4a) in five of the last six games (2/25-3/11). He appeared in all 29 games as a freshman and recorded 15 points (5g, 10a). Nardella potted both goals in a 2-1 victory at Nebraska-Omaha (11/27). He also potted the gamewinner in a 4-2 win at Princeton (1/8).
High School/Juniors: Nardella played four seasons in the NAHL with the Springfield Jr. Blues. He scored 213 points (66g, 147a) in 171 career games and earned three all-star game invitations. Nardella’s 213 points make him one of the all-time leading scorers in Springfield history. He also was a member of two USA Hockey Select All-Star teams and played in international competition. Personal: Nardella’s favorite NHL team is the Chicago Black Hawks, and Tony Amonte, is his favorite player. Away from the rink, Nardella enjoys golf and lists Friends as his favorite TV show. His cousin, Bob Nardella, plays for the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. |
