At Dartmouth: Hontvet appeared in 15 games last year and recorded an assist in the Big Green’s 7-0 win against Harvard (2/9). He also added a physical presence to the lineup and recorded 20 minutes in penalties. As a freshman, Hontvet battled his way into the lineup and appeared in 14 games for the Big Green. He finished the season with six points (1g, 5a), including a three-game point-scoring streak (2/27-3/4). Hontvet recorded his first collegiate goal and multiple-point game at Clarkson (3/3). He also picked up helpers in back-to-back games against Clarkson (1/30) and Union (2/3). High School/Juniors: Hontvet played for the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League. He recorded eight points (5g, 3a) in an injury-shortened season with the Stars. Personal: Hontvet cheers for the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL and his favorite player is Joe Sakic. Hontvet enjoys watching Friends and his favorite movie is Dazed and Confused. He names Limp Bizkit as his favorite musical act. |
