| Scouting Report: Gaul is one of the top forwards in the North American Junior Hockey League. He is skilled offensively and has excellent hockey sense. He is an extremely versatile player, plays a physical game, kills penalties, plays on the power play and is an excellent defensive forward. Gaul had an strong midget career, as he broke a number of scoring records for the Pittsburgh Hornets. Gaul was one of the best players in the Mid-American District when he competed in the USA Hockey Select 16 and 17 Festivals.
High School/Juniors: 2000-2001 Team: Chicago Freeze (NAHL) Personal: Away from the rink, Gaul enjoys golfing and lifting weights. He cheers for the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers and lists Mark Messier as his favorite player. Gaul’s favorite movie is Braveheart and he watches The Sopranos and The Simpsons. |
