| At Dartmouth: Coughlin will be given every opportunity to earn more ice time this season after appearing in seven games as a sophomore. He scored his only goal of the season in the win at Colgate (2/17). Coughlin played a key role for the Big Green on the team’s top checking unit. He appeared in 15 games and collected three points (2g, 1a). His first collegiate goal was a big one as he netted the gamewinner in a 2-0 win against Rensselaer (1/7). Coughlin also picked up an assist on the Big Green’s second goal, giving him his first multiple-point game. He also scored a goal at St. Lawrence (3/4).
High School/Juniors: Coughlin graduated from Phillips Andover and registered 30 points (15g, 15a) as a senior. He was also named to the Hockey Night in Boston All-Scholastic team. Personal: Coughlin lists the Boston Bruins as his favorite NHL team and the Washington Capitals’ Jaromir Jagr his favorite player. Coughlin names Happy Gilmore as his favorite film and enjoys listening to Rage Against the Machine. |
