| NHL Draft Pick: Boucher was a ninth round pick (280th overall) selection of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
At Dartmouth: Last year, Boucher was a workhorse in goal, appearing in 33 games. He had a career-best 2.56 goals against average and a .912 save percentage. Boucher finished the season with a 16-12-4 overall record, the most victories by a goalie since head coach Bob Gaudet 81 had 17 in 1979-80. Boucher currently ranks first all-time at Dartmouth with a .910 save percentage, sixth with a 2.69 goals against average and 10th with 1,509 saves. He is also fourth all-time with 24 career wins and is chasing Gaudet, who had 40 in his career. Boucher allowed one goal in nine contests and recorded his only shutout of the season against Harvard (2/9). He made 35 saves or more in a game five times, including a season-high 38 in Game One of the ECAC quarterfinals against Rensselaer (3/9). Boucher had a goals against average of 0.77 during a five-game span (2/9-2/23), never allowing more than a goal in a game. As a freshman, Boucher appeared in a team-best 24 games. Boucher was named honorable mention All-Ivy for his efforts after posting a 2.25 goals against average and a .927 save percentage. He earned a victory in his first collegiate start, stopping 35 saves in a 4-1 win at Brown (11/6). He made 20 saves in a 2-0 shutout victory against Rensselaer (1/7).
High School/Juniors: Boucher joined Dartmouth from the Fort Saskatchewan Traders of the AJHL. There, he posted an 11-9-2 record while allowing 3.38 goals against per outing. Boucher was 3-4 in the playoffs with a 3.43 goals against average, while his save percentage increased from .897 to .916 in the postseason.
