| At Dartmouth: Mahler enjoyed his finest offensive season last year, registering a career-high six points and a career best five goals. He scored his first of the season against Western Michigan (11/26) and then netted two goals in a three game span against Ohio State (12/30) and Rensselaer (1/7). In 21 games as a sophomore, Mahler chipped in three assists against Rensselaer (11/13), Providence (12/11) and Vermont (1/30). He appeared in 11 games as a freshman, collecting two points (1g, 1a). Mahler potted his first collegiate goal in the Big Green's 6-2 victory against Bowling Green (12/28) at the Sheraton/USAirways Classic at Vermont. His assist came in a 6-5 overtime loss at Brown (3/6).
High School/Juniors: Mahler skated at the Taft School prior to Dartmouth where he scored 22 points (6g, 16a) in 19 games as a senior. He was a Colonial Prep School All-Star and was also named to the Hockey Night in Boston All-Star and All-Scholastic teams. Prior to attending Taft, Mahler was at the Blake School and was named All-Metro honorable mention.
Personal: Mahler lists the Godfather films as his favorites and enjoys listening to the Pearl Jam. The Colorado Avalanche are his favorite NHL team.
