| At Dartmouth: Coughlin played a key role for the Big Green on the team's top checking unit. He appeared in 15 games and collected three points (2g, 1a). His first collegiate goal was a big one as he netted the gamewinning goal in a 2-0 win against Rensselaer (1/7). Coughlin also picked up an assist on the Big Green's second goal, giving him his first multiple-point game. He also scored a goal at St. Lawrence (3/4).
High School/Juniors: Coughlin graduated from Phillips Andover and registered 30 points (15g, 15a) as a senior. He was also named to the Hockey Night in Boston All-Scholastic team. Personal: Coughlin lists the Boston Bruins as his favorite NHL team and the Pittsburgh Penguins' all-star Jaromir Jagr his favorite player. Coughlin names Happy Gilmore as his favorite film and enjoys listening to Rage Against the Machine. |
