At Dartmouth: Casella enjoyed his sophomore season as he posted career-best offensive numbers in all categories. He finished the year with 10 points (4g, 6a) in 28 games played. Casella opened the season with goals in three of the first seven games. He scored goals in back-to-back games against Western Michigan (11/26-11/27) and netted his final goal of the season in the ECAC Quarterfinals at Rensselaer (3/10). Casella recorded his second collegiate multiple-point game (2a) in Dartmouth's 2-0 victory against Rensselaer (1/7). He closed out the season with points in three of the last four games of the season. Casella appeared in 19 games as a freshman, chipping in seven points (3g, 4a). He missed eight games due to injuries. Casella netted his first collegiate goal and the first of the season for Dartmouth, in an 8-5 win against Niagara (11/8). He picked up his first multiple-point game at Vermont (1/30), scoring a goal and an assist. Casella also potted a goal against St. Lawrence (1/15).

High School/Juniors: Casella was a team captain at Lawrence Academy as a senior, and in 29 games he scored 42 points (13g, 29a). Casella was named a Hockey Night in Boston All-Star, while earning All-Scholastic and All-New England honors his senior year. He was an ISL Keller All-League selection twice.

Personal: Casella cheers for the 2000 Stanley Cup champion New Jersey Devils and lists Wayne Gretzky as his favorite player. Casella lists steak as his favorite food, Dumb and Dumber is his favorite movie and he likes to watch The Simpsons.
