Conference Objectives

The 18th Annual Nevola Symposium will offer a day of presentations, experiential workshops and networking which will examine ways in which our understanding of the role of love and altruism can positively affect healing relationships.

Audience
People involved with healthcare and human services, the religious community and education as well as interested community members are encouraged to attend.

Symposium Objectives

1.
Discuss research findings about the effect of love on healing within professional relationships.
2.
Incorporate art and imagination to enrich our ability to love in professional and personal relationships.
3.
Tell stories about the healing experience of love in clinical relationships.
4.
Discuss and describe the role of your own spirituality and experience of love in your professional and personal work as a healer.
5.
Discuss and describe the meaning and role of love in the context of healing relationships.
