Info for Incoming Students

To assist your preparations for this Fall, we have included below some links to resources you may find helpful. Near the end of April we send an email to new students with September start date for orientation as well as basic information. Another email letter goes out in August with more specific orientation dates and times. The orientation schedule will be included in your notebook which will be given to you on the first day of orientation.

If you have questions or concerns during the summer, please contact Janet Cheney in the MCB Office Janet.A.Cheney@Dartmouth.edu.

Orientation

Orientation will begin in September 2 of 2008.  Incoming students should plan to be on campus by late August to allow time to settle in. Our orientation lasts three weeks and includes the annual retreat, presentations by the four Ph.D. programs, training sessions with Environmental Health and Safety Office, and seminars by the Graduate Studies Office.
