Protein Fractionation
The classical method for separating proteins and for expression analysis is one and two- dimensional Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. However, we do not offer this as a service at this time. If you are interested in performing two-dimensional PAGE please contact the core facility for assistance in downstream preparation of your samples. As an alternative we have purchased a Beckman-Coulter ProteomeLab PF2D two-dimensional protein fractionation system. Follow the link to the Beckman-Coulter Website for detailed information on this instrument. Because this instrument is new, we prefer you contact the core facility for further information, sample preparation and submission.
