ESI Mass Spectometry

The MB&P Mass Spectroscopy Laboratory is equipped with a Thermo Finnigan LCQ Deca XP ESI Ion Trap mass spectrometer. Equipped with an Advion Nanomate nanospray device, the instrument is very sensitive and can provide MS and MSn information on molecules up to a m/z of 2000. The instrument is routinely used by the Core Facility for the protein identification service and is not available on a walk-up basis. However, user participation in sample preparation and data analysis is encouraged. Please contact the Core Facility for further information.
