Though limited campus housing is available to year-round students, most find their own housing off-campus for the fall, winter and spring terms.
Rentals can be found through the Dartmouth Housing Office, 14 S. Main Street, Hanover, N.H. (603-646-2170), which maintains a Rental Housing List. Classified ads in local and campus newspapers and notices around campus can also be a valuable resource in finding housing in the Dartmouth area.
In the summer, M.A.L.S. students can choose to live on campus and will be housed together in a college dormitory. This dormitory provides not only a meeting place for its residents, but also a home base on campus for commuters as well. We encourage students enrolled in the summer to live on campus in order to take full advantage of the Dartmouth College facilities. Single and double room dormitory space is available in close proximity to the M.A.L.S. office and classrooms. Each room is supplied with a bed, a desk, a desk chair and a lounge chair per occupant. There is a phone outlet in each room which can be used to make on-campus calls. Off-campus and long-distance service is available.
All dormitory rooms are also hard-wired into the campus-wide computer network. Students must bring lamps, rugs, linens and other desired furnishings.
