October 23, 2009. Homecoming WIP and Reception. The MALS Alumni Council is pleased to invite you to an afternoon of student presentations, “Works-in-Progress,” and reception on Dartmouth Night 2009. It all begins at 4:00 p.m. in the 1930 Room, Rockefeller Center. The WIP session will feature a student from each of the four MALS tracks--Creative Writing, Globalization, Cultural Studies and Liberal Studies--presenting and soliciting feedback on their thesis research and writing. After the reception plan to march in the Homecoming Parade with fellow MALS alumni and students and then stay around for the traditional Bonfire on the Green. June 13, 2010. Commencement Reception. The annual champagne reception for graduating students and their families. Immediately following Commencement ceremonies in the Faculty Lounge, Hopkins Center. Thesis awards will be presented by Professor and Chair Don Pease.
