Peter Rodis

Peter (Pano) Rodis is a practicing psychologist who received his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.   Although dedicated primarily to clinical service, Professor Rodis has published in the areas of theoretical psychology, the emotions, and learning disabilities.   Specializing in the psychological evaluation & treatment of children and adolescents, Dr. Rodis has been interested in developing models of care that recognize the role of diverse influences (e.g., the humanities, ethics, culture) in psychological treatment.   Over the years, Dr. Rodis has held academic appointments in several departments at Dartmouth College, in addition to serving as the facilitator of forums at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and the Dartmouth Medical School devoted to enhancing compassionate care in medicine.
