• June 10, 2012. Commencement Reception. The annual champagne reception for graduating students and their families will be held immediately following Commencement ceremonies in the Hinman Forum, Rockefeller Center. The program will include presentation of the Nicholas Byam-Shaw M.A.L.S. Thesis Excellence Awards by Professor and Chair Donald Pease. • July 12, 2012. M.A.L.S. Alumni Association Luncheon and Annual Meeting.This year's luncheon will feature Virginia Beahan, Senior Lecturer in Photography at Dartmouth, speaking on "Cuba: A Photographic View Through History and Time." The luncheon, talk and meeting are scheduled from noon until to 2:00 p.m. in the Paganucci Lounge, Class of 1953 Commons (behind Collis Center). Admission is free for M.A.L.S. students and faculty; $20 for M.A.L.S. alumni. The annual meeting will follow the luncheon and talk and include election of officers and discussion of the year ahead. M.A.L.S. Alumni comprise a remarkably diverse and talented group, representing a wide range of professions, academic backgrounds, and accomplishments. The more than 1000 graduates of this Program now reside throughout the U.S. and around the world.

The M.A.L.S. has an active Alumni network, which is an important part of the program.

The members of the Alumni Association Board are actively engaged in fostering communication and networking opportunities between current students and alumni.

In addition, the Alumni Board sponsors several events each year.
