Jeff Halper, 10/23/08 presents at OSLC:

“On the Ground: Israel/Palestine — Where We’ve Been, Where We Are Headed”

This Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m., October 23, in Cana Hall.

The Upper Valley Israeli Committee Against House Demolition [ICAHD-USA] will host
a fundraiser for ICAHD and information session, “”In Support of the
Israeli Peace Movement,” with Jeff Halper, founder and director of
ICAHD. A selection of appetizers and beverages will be offered.

At 7:00 p.m., also in Cana Hall there will be a talk given by Jeff on the
current prospect for a just and sustainable peace between Palestinians
and Israelis:  “On the Ground: Israel/Palestine — Where We’ve Been,
Where We Are Headed.” Light refreshments will be served.

ICAHD’s work is an important component of raising awareness by both
those in Israsel and Palestine, as well as international awareness of
what hinders the possibility of peace and what we can do in the United
States to support a genuine peace.

While OSLC is not a sponsoring organization to this event we encourage
members and friends to attend.  Jeff Halper brings a wealth of

often dark situation.  Pastors Michael and Susan and their congregation
in Jerusalem often worked in cooperation with ICAHD.  Jeff is an
inspiring leader for peace.
