St. Thomas Episcopal Church and Our Savior Lutheran Church and Student Center, both of Hanover, and St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Norwich, invite middle school and high school students to gather on Tuesdays, starting this Tuesday, February 26th, at St. Barnabas in Norwich. Gathering time is between 3:00 - 3:30 and we meet from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Kiku Langford, a 2006 Dartmouth grad who majored in Studio Arts, is the youth director.

Any middle school or high school student is welcome. Kiku emphasizes that this gathering is not just for Episcopalians and Lutherans, or only Christians – so feel free to invite a friend! In addition to Kiku, at least one of the sponsoring congregation’s ministers will be involved weekly. She explains, “Hopefully, this will be a place where you can feel comfortable being yourself, ask questions you might not normally get to ask, and get to meet people you might not normally get to meet.” And there’s no homework!

For more information, email Kiku at J.Kiku.Langford.06@Alum.Dartmouth.ORG. The Episcopal Church, USA, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) have entered into an agreement, “Called to Common Mission,” that supports and encourages the sharing of ministry such as this youth ministry.
