As has been the practice for the past several years, we’ll gather for soup, an activity and Vespers on Wednesdays during Advent from 6-7:30 p.m. On Dec. 5^th and 12^th, rehearsals for the Children’s Pageant (Dec. 16) will be folded into our time together (they’ll have one final rehearsal extravaganza on Saturday, Dec. 15^th from 10-noon). The final Advent Wednesday will be Dec. 19^th. The theme for this year’s Advent Vespers is “Keeping Watch in the Night”. These Advent Wednesdays are wonderful times to gather for simple nourishment of body and soul during the busy Christmas season.
