Biography:
Ernesto Cuevas, Jr. was born in Harlingen, Texas and raised in Plant City,
Fl. The son of former migrant farm workers, Ernesto grew up in the fields
with his mother and farther. It was there that he grew to love the arts. The
support of his parents and their transition from the fields to a more stable
life style gave Ernesto the ability to begin searching for both academic and
artistic empowerment.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America has had a profound impact on Ernestošs
life. At the forefront of his Boys & Girls Club experience was his art.
Ernesto has spent a lot of time working with youth in the arts, both through
the Boys & Girls Clubs, and on his own.
Ernesto attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH where he majored in Studio
Art, and concentrated in oil panting. Ernesto is currently the lead graphic
designer for Enterprises Computing Services, Inc. in Woodstock, Ga. Prior to
working with ECS, Inc. Ernesto was working as a graphic designer and 3D
animator with the technology support group at the C. Everett Koop Institute.
Also, Ernesto is actively working as a painter, illustrator, and freelance
