(Looks like Rev. Bruce was a Minister of the Gospel in Chester from 1817- 1849)

Rufus had a brother, Lawson Bruce, b. in Hopkinton, 20 July, 1777, son of Reuben & Lois.

Reuben Bruce, b. ca. 1746, son of --. He m. in Hopkinton, 17 Feb., 1744, Lois Pike (b. Hopkinton, 22 July, 1750, dau. of Nathaniel & Abiah (Pratt) Pike).
