Further notes on Kendall Boutwell and family:
Kendall Boutwell, b. Reading, Mass. 11 Aug., 1736, son of John & Elizabeth (Parker) Boutwell
Sarah Boutwell, b. Reading, Mass., 23 March, 1734, dau. of
They were m. in 1756. They moved to Amherst, NH before the Revolution.
Children (at least):
1. Joseph, b. 6 March, 1757. He m. 1st Abigail . He m. 2nd in So. Reading, Mass., 1 April, 1834, Molly Parker. He a Revolutionary War pensioner. He d. in So Reading, Mass., 4 July, 1840.
2. Sarah, b. . died young.
3. John, b. 8 Aug., 1762. He m. Betsey Eaton. He was a Revolutionary War pensioner. He served from Amherst, NH; Captain Lovejoy's 1779 Company. After the war he moved to So. Reading, Mass., then to Chester, Vt., then to Hamburg, NY, and then Collins (Erie Co) NY, then to Otto, NY. He applied for a pension at the age of 70 at Otto (Catarragus Co) NY, 13 Sept., 1832. He d. in NY state 12 Sept., 1847.
4. Caleb, b. 3 Nov., 1766. He was living in Amherst, NH in Sept. 1832, aged 66 years.
5. Kendall, b. 1768*
6. Sarah, b. 7 Feb., 1772. She m. Amherst, NH, 12 March, 1793, John Weston. She d. in Reading, Mass., 29 May, 1808. (John Weston born on 1 Oct 1768 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA and died on 1 Aug 1849 in Reading, Massachusetts).
7. Asa, b. . He m. in Amherst, NH, 25 May, 1779, Bridget Pearson
Sarah Boutwell Boutwell d. in Amherst, NH, April, 1812. Kindall Boutwell was aged 83 and living with his son Joseph in Amherst, NH on 2 July, 1818, when Joseph applied for a Revolutionary War survivor's pension. Kendall d. in Amherst, NH, 12 Aug., 1820.
