Steven writes: After graduation I came to Boston to start a PhD program in Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology at MIT and Harvard Medical School. During the Summer I worked on a project designed to test a model for speech production, and now that the semester has started, I'm busy with coursework. It's a bit of a shift from Linguistics, but the program is flexible enough that I can still pursue my interests in linguistics from the different angles we explore in the program.
