It's pretty cool, as I'm working with computer networks and developing network based software--pretty fun stuff. Japan is a trip, and I'm finally forced to learn a second, spoken language (Latin and C++ are not that helpful for communicating with living people.) I've been here two years this February, and although it's a bit stressful, living in another culture has been great learning experience.

My Cog Sci major has really come in handy these days, as I've met a really nice Japanese girl who does neoruscience research at Riken national laboratory (check out http://www.brain.riken.go.jp ). It was worth sitting through all of Prof. Gazzanaga's seminar just to see the expression on her face when I used the word "deoxyhemoglobin". I knew all that hard work would pay off someday!
