Robert Hamilton '96

Robert writes: Since my 1996 graduation from Dartmouth with a degree in Cognitive Science/Music, I've actually been able to put a good portion of both majors to work in the "real world". Working for first a consulting company in the DC area as a systems analyst and then for a web site (The Motley Fool) as a software developer, I found the logic and study of information systems that were part of my cognitive science degree extremely useful.

Currently, I'm at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore getting a masters degree in Computer Music Composition, where I also am finding uses for my background in dealing with musical information systems and intelligent musical systems.
