Osiyo nigadv (hello everyone),

I have just completed a Master's program in Applied Linguistic Anthropology at the University of Oklahoma. My thesis title was "Metaphor Construction and Conceptual Convention in Oklahoma Cherokee with Implications for Language Instruction." While in school I have been the graduate assistant to Dr. Sean O'Neill who is working with the Plains Apache tribe to produce a dictionary and interactive language database for use in their language revitalization efforts. Next, I plan to pursue a position with a tribal government here in Oklahoma specializing in either curriculum development for language programs or language documentation.
