Subject Specialists are librarians who work with academic departments and programs on research and curricular needs. Students and faculty can contact a Subject Specialist to make an appointment for research consultation or to ask reference questions. Subject Specialists also work with faculty to provide library research sessions for classes as well as other methods of integrating research and information technology into the curriculum.

To request Dartmouth Library purchase materials for the collection, contact your department’s Bibliographer, or fill out the request an item be purchased form. Requests from library users for purchases are always welcome.
