Description

Grant of arms by Charles, as king of Spain, to Nicholas de Almacan of Arequipa, Peru, May 14, 1452. The manuscript is finely illumnated and contains portraits of Charles, Julius Caesar, and perhaps the only known life portrait of Francisco Pizarro in roundels at the top of the leaf.
